How It Works

Three Positions. One push.

The Privacy-Pin is built into the lever handle body. Push it to lock. Push again to release. One-handed. Compatible with any standard mortise lock.

Unlocked

Normal operation. The handle operates freely from both sides. The Privacy-Pin sits flush in the handle barrel. Invisible at rest.

PUSH TO LOCK

Press the Privacy-Pin in the handle body. One push. Outside handle disengages — door cannot be opened from the corridor.

PUSH TO RELEASE

Push the handle down. Pin resets. Door returns to normal. Same gesture in both directions — intuitive from the first use.
