Kärcher Design handles are certified to DIN EN 1906 Class 3 and Class 4 — Germany’s stringent industrial standard for lever handle performance under repeated load, corrosion resistance, and mechanical durability. Class 4 represents the highest civilian performance classification, tested for buildings with the heaviest usage demands.
The EN1627 certification further validates resistance to forced entry. Handles are produced using precision stainless steel and zamac alloy casting with surface treatments including powder-coated Cosmos Black, Diamond Touch satin stainless steel, and satin brass — each finished to resist scratching and corrosion over decades of use.
