Studio One

“STUDIO One” presents our top product Rhodos in a new, stylish variant: with Diamond Touch surface in the colours stainless steel matte or cosmos black, it offers simple elegance combined with fascinating haptics.

The knurled “Diamond Touch” surface gives the rather plain handle a special and unique touch. The Studio One model is available in satin stainless steel and Cosmos Black and is one of the standard models in the Studio Series.

RED DOT DESIGN AWARD

The Red Dot Design Award is one of the largest design competitions worldwide. Participants can enter in three disciplines: Product Design, Brands & Communication Design and Design Concept. For each award, a jury meets annually to review the submissions individually and then subsequently decide on the awards.

MUUUZ AWARD

The Muuuz International Awards are organised by ArchiDesignClub in collaboration with Muuuz magazine. Each year, they honour the most outstanding new products in the field of architecture, including a total of six categories: Construction & Architecture Layout, Coatings & Materials, Home Furniture, Lighting, Kitchen & Bathroom and Outdoor.

GERMAN DESIGN AWARD

The German Design Award has been honouring innovative products and projects as well as manufacturers and designers in the German and international design industry since 2011. In the first year, the award operated under the name “Designpreis Deutschland”. To avoid confusion with the Design Award of the Federal Republic of Germany, the German Design Council changed the name of the award.

CALLWEY AWARD

The “Solutions of the Year” prize, which we award as part of the “Hous-es of the Year” competition, seeks out and rewards the most innovative product solutions for professional house building. Manufacturing companies can submit products and receive awards in the following categories: Lighting, Kitchen & Kitchen Fittings, Bathroom & Sanitary, Exterior Wall & Facade, Windows, Doors & Gates, Flooring & Design Flooring, Interior Wall Design, Heating & Ventilation, Sunscreen & Privacy, Building Services, Stairs & Lifts and Roofing.

COSMOS BLACK

The Cosmos black range has been very well received by our customers, and is becoming ever more popular with architects. Renowned architects like Saguez & Partners, Quadrilatère or Architecture Studio have already been convinced by Cosmos black. The finish is applied electrostatically as a powder coating. This procedure does not require the use of solvents creating an eco-friendly high-quality product.

KARCHER door handles in “Cosmos Black” are scratch-proof as well as highly resistant to corrosion. The particularly matt and soft black surface convinces with its pleasant feel and thus stands for high design quality and outstanding design. High-end offices, like those of Christian Dior Parfum and WeWork in Paris, or the Hotel Kimpton De Witt in Amsterdam show that door handles from Karcher Design can be inserted seamlessly into both designer and high-traffic applications. Our handles represent the perfect blend of modern design and functionality.

Mission Invisible

Minimalist design with great effect

Our new, Mission Invisible “collection was nominated for the Callwey Award in May 2021 and received the award in the category, Solution of the Year 2021” in October 2021. But it didn’t stop at achieving just one award. The Muuuz International Awards (MIAW) annually honour the most outstanding products from the construction, landscape and decoration sectors. This year‘s nominated products were assessed and divided into four main criteria: Design, Originality, Use and Technology.

Once again, our product range, consisting of the newly developed minirosettes and the bespoke design models Soho, Boston and Brooklyn, were outstanding in all four main criteria and was subsequently awarded the MIAW Award 2021 in the interior design category.
